The all conquering “A35” and the one design “Grand Surprise” will be on the water on stand no. 293 / 294

With over 230 Grand Surprise launched in the past 3 years the class has huge momentum, the class is now growing in the UK and some fast exiting class racing should appear. Her smaller sisters are also following suit, with the 21ft Sprinto and 25ft Surprise adding to Archambault family in the UK.

The A35 needs little explanation to those who follow the major racing scene, nor her bigger sister the A40rc. To those not up the performance market, they have proved over the past 2 years that speed, ease of handling and balance all have made this yacht a winner.

The team at Wessex are proud to announce that at the Dufour world wide dealer conference in La Rochelle, Wessex Yacht Sales Ltd were presented with one of only 4 awards during the whole dealer conference. David Pike (the MD) was on hand to receive the award for Northern Europe & English Speaking Countries as the ‘Most Progressive Dufour Dealer’.

Wessex Yacht Sales Ltd have just handed over 14 Dufour’s to Neilson in Greece

Wessex Yacht Sales Ltd have just finished handing over the 14 Dufour 325’s and 34’s to Neilson in Greece.

Neilson are very excited about these fantastic new boats and are seeing their bookings being snapped up.

You will now see Dufours in the Neilson fleets in the Greek Islands.

We have two new team members on the team.

Paul, joined us just before Christmas, already familiar with the boat yard side of operations, he is now getting to grips with the new boats as they come in and the 50+ yachts we maintain during the season.

Craig joined us straight after the boat show, he has been in and around the boating business for years, from overseas holiday companies to engineering with Volvo agents here in the uk. His remit as Commissioning & Aftersales Manager, as you can imagine, covers most of the technical issues that there are!

We welcome them both to our ever expanding team.

Although the show it’s self was quiet we had a very exiting London boat show. We are now back in the office with 3 of the show boats here ready to go!

When we arrived back home a Dufour 40 that we have been getting ready to hand over came out of the paint shop with her new colours, as you can see she looks stunning!!

As well as new boat sales at London there was a definite move in the brokerage market, we have moved a few boats on and have more arriving every day, well worth checking the web site to see what’s occurring!
